Hillarie develops and executes strategic communications programs in support of clients’ overall business goals. She also plays an integral role in business development and marketing. Hillarie is a seasoned communications professional with more than 15 years of specializing in health and science. Her expertise spans a variety of therapeutic areas, including neuroscience, diabetes, rare disorders, cardiology and oncology. Hillarie has provided strategic oversight and counsel for a range of consumer healthcare and life sciences clients, including corporations, associations, nonprofits and advocacy organizations. She has created strategies to build brand identity and awareness, led press operations for major national and international medical/scientific meetings and developed traditional and social media plans to reach professional and consumer audiences. Hillarie graduated from Elon University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She served as president of Washington Women in Public Relations for two years and is a member of the D.C. Science Writers Association. Hillarie is a native Washingtonian and lives in Kensington with her family. In her spare time she can be found organizing and designing all things home and office.
