Increasing Brand Awareness for Maryland University System

Challenge

Choosing a college is complicated, but it doesn’t have to be. Universities at Shady Grove (USG) asked us to increase brand awareness among students who may not be aware that a cost-effective, quality education is available in Montgomery County, Maryland.

Strategy

We implemented a targeted communications plan, focusing on USG’s unique educational model, events, students, higher education trends and more. We also created a marketing presentation for USG leadership and wrote marketing collateral to highlight news, key programs, staff and students.

  • Increased enrollment to the current level of 4,000 full- and part-time students
  • Generated multiple media placements annually
  • Coordinated successful community day and 10thanniversary celebration
